More About Jordan: Jordan loves teaching at FBRA because of the nearly endless possibilities to share the things that give him joy: enjoying and sharing the outdoors, learning and performing music, meeting new people and conversing in new languages, and striving for excellence in his work are a few of the things he loves and is excited to share with our students.
Before FBRA, Jordan worked in Outdoor Education where he taught a variety of river, mountain, and wilderness skills at organizations like the North Carolina Outward Bound School, the Nantahala Outdoor Center, and WISP Mountain Ski School. While at West Virginia University’s Statler College of Engineering, he led new student orientation outdoors trips and developed curriculum for the “Science Behind Rock Climbing,” which became a central component of the Science Adventure School established later.
