Fresh school supplies, smiling faces, crispy fresh uniform polos… It must be back to school season! After an amazing Induction Week at Camps Mondamin and Green Cove, French Broad River Academy’s academic program started last Tuesday, September 3. Our students and staff have the advantage of skipping those potentially awkward first day nerves because they’d spent the entire week before getting to know one another and having fun outdoor adventures together. Our students showed up on Day One “curious, engaged, and ready to learn,” according to Caitlin Hay, Girls Program Math Teacher.
FBRA’s academics are rigorous, engagingly experiential, and student-centered, starting from Day One. Our program is designed to open up students’ eyes to a diverse array of subjects and skills and to give each student as many future options as possible, depending upon their personal passions. That’s why everyone does everything, from lap swim to five-paragraph essays to performing in music ensembles in front of large audiences. Learn more about FBRA’s academic program here.
